AML Policy
AML Policy Against Money Laundering – www.brocasino.casino
For deposits and withdrawals.
Introduction
www.brocasino.casino ensures maximum security for all users. To achieve this, a two-stage account verification is conducted to confirm the identity of clients. This guarantees that the registered person’s data is accurate and that the deposit methods used are not stolen or utilized by third parties. Depending on citizenship, payment method, and withdrawal method, appropriate security measures are applied.
Objective of the AML Policy
We strive to prevent the use of our services for money laundering purposes and apply reasonable measures to monitor and limit risks.
AML Program
The AML program of www.brocasino.casino is designed in accordance with:
- EU: Directive 2015/849 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the prevention of the use of the financial system for the purpose of money laundering.
- EU: Regulation 2015/847 on information accompanying transfers of funds.
- EU: Regulations on sanctions and embargoes for certain goods and technologies.
- Belgium: Law of 18 September 2017 on the prevention of money laundering and the limitation of cash usage.
Definition of Money Laundering
Money laundering includes:
- The conversion or transfer of property, knowing it originates from illicit activity, with the intent to conceal its source.
- The concealment of the true nature, location, movement, or ownership rights of property obtained through criminal means.
- The acquisition, possession, or use of property, knowing it has an illicit origin.
- Assisting, participating, inciting, or advising in the aforementioned actions.
Money laundering is considered as such even if the criminal activity occurred outside the user’s country.
Two-Stage Verification
First Stage:
Every user must fill in personal details: first name, last name, date of birth, country of residence, gender, and full address for withdrawals.
Second Stage:
For users with deposits or withdrawals exceeding $10,000, the second stage of verification is conducted. Withdrawals will be suspended until the review is complete. The user must provide an official identity document and, if necessary, proof of the source of funds. Confirmation of the current address is also required (utility bill or official confirmation). Verification is performed electronically or manually.
Customer Identification and Verification (KYC)
For official identity confirmation, a copy of a passport, ID card, or driver’s license with a handwritten six-digit code, along with a photo of the user’s face, is required. All corners of the document must be visible, and the data must be readable. Additional checks may be conducted depending on the situation.
Source of Funds
If the amount exceeds €5,000, the source of income (SOW) is verified: business ownership, employment, inheritance, investments, family. Additional documents may be requested if needed. The account may be frozen until the legitimacy of the funds is confirmed.
Risk Management
All countries are classified by risk levels:
- Region 1: low risk
- Region 2: medium risk — two-stage verification mandatory
- Region 3: high risk — access restricted, list updated regularly
Transaction Monitoring
Continuous monitoring is conducted on three levels:
- Verification through trusted payment providers.
- Internal control of all financial operations and payment methods, including adapted three-stage verification.
- Manual reviews of all suspicious and high-risk transactions, with notification to relevant authorities upon detection of fraud or money laundering.
Reporting Suspicious Transactions
All atypical transactions are reported to the AML department and analyzed to determine whether reporting to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) is required or if the business relationship with the client should be terminated.
Data Storage
Identification and transaction records are stored for at least ten years in encrypted form, both offline and online.
Training and Audit
Employees undergo regular AML training. Internal audit oversees compliance with the policy and conducts periodic reviews.
Data Security
All user data is stored securely, not shared with third parties, and may only be provided to authorities when required by law or to prevent money laundering. www.brocasino.casino complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Directive (Directive 95/46/EC).
